  • It only took 8 months but stuff is OFF the floor 🎉 Originally wanted a console table for this nook but couldn’t find anything narrow enough that would allow for the balcony door to open too. Eventually found this chest of drawers that not only fit, but had enough room to plonk Hetty and my record player down too. I’ve found it tricky to style our bedroom- as it’s the loft room, the angles and low ceiling are hard to work with. Think I need to jump back onto Pinterest for inspo!
  • 4 years of marriage, 16 years in total, 5 house moves, 3 cats (4 if you count Max) 1 baby and possibly maybe a squirrel? Happy wedding anniversary to us @shrekels ❤️❤️❤️
  • Foxes, squirrels, a rogue bunny, and a cacophony of birds...there’s a reason I went with a woodland theme in Ava’s room when we moved in! My view outside the kitchen window when I went to put the kettle on...hello little fox, hope you had a nice snooze (Believe it or not, this is East London!)
  • Watching the rain fall from the window. Cooler, rainy days mean tea, toast and a Harry Potter. The gloomy weather makes this one fall asleep faster too!
  • The trouble with our hallway is that it doesn’t get much light- adding to the ever growing list is to replace the front door to one with some glass panels to allow more light through. Also stumped how to make it more interesting? I’ve got a massive round mirror on the wall but not sure how else to make it prettier? Thought about panelling but the staircase makes that awkward 🤷🏻‍♀️ Think I’ll sit on it awhile before I get paint happy!
  • A squirmy toddler selfie because squirminess is the new normal now 👌🏼 Getting ready for a bath after a successful play time in the garden pulling up the grass to play with the dirt 🤦🏻‍♀️
  • Two thoughts occur to me- one, that this says hello hi just me trying to keep my house together and somewhat nice and sometimes toy buses just get in the way, and two, actually maybe Ava is on to something and a toy bus is exactly what was needed for this cupboard. 🤷🏻‍♀️
